This is on a temp-to-perm basis. Once initial training period is completed, they will also hire a night shift welder too.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coded welding on pipe and plate
• 2G or 6G, TIG, MIG, and Pulse MIG Welding positions on pipe
• Welding of stainless and carbon steel tubes (Butt Welds and Fillets) and plates
• Positional welding on pressure vessels, boilers, pressure parts and super heater pipework, etc

The ideal candidate:

• Will have a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
• Be confident with 6G TIG welding
• Will have had previous qualifications/coding's
• Weld trade test will be required, which will be x-rayed
• Will have the ability to butt welds (tube to tube) and pass X-ray. DPI and MPI

Shift Pattern - 7.54am-4.30pm Mon to Thurs / 7.54am-1.30pm Fridays

You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive tenders and costings for industrial electrical projects, including water industry (WIMES) works, utilities, and wider M&E projects. You will be working closely with the design and project delivery teams to ensure bids are technically compliant, commercially sound, and reflect real delivery costs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical works (labour, materials, subcontractors, prelims, overheads)
• Issue supplier/subcontract enquiries, review returns, and compile bid comparisons
• Develop clear bid summaries and present to senior management
• Work with design engineers to validate technical solutions and identify value-engineering opportunities
• Maintain estimating database and cost libraries
