Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a Welding Coordinator to join a growing and successful team permanently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review welding requirements
• Issuing weld consumables and procedures
• Put together weld history sheets (including maintaining weld maps)
• Support the calibration and maintenance of the welding plant and equipment

Applicants must be able to demonstrate:

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• A strong understanding of welding and fabrication
• Organisational skills with a methodical approach
• Proficiency in IT systems, including word and excel

Desirable Skills and Experience:

• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspection qualification
• Knowledge of NDT techniques - visual, MPI, DPI
• Hands-on welding experience with TIG, MIG, and STICK processes (a minimum of 1 year)

This is a full-time, permanent position.

• Salary - £46,000 + company pension and free on-site parking
• Overtime Rates - weekday T 1/3, Saturdays T1/2, and double days Sundays
• Shift Pattern - Monday to Thursday 17:30 pm - 3:30 am
