Summary
Straight-Line Civils are seeking a professional and friendly Receptionist to join a growing team in Scunthorpe.
The idea candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing a variety of administrative tasks. This role requires excellent organisational skills, proficiency in computerised systems, and a strong ability to communicate effectively over the phone.
Duties:
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
- Perform clerical duties including data entry, filing, and maintaining office supplies
- Assist in scheduling appointments and general organisation of Directors needs
- Maintain an organised receception area, ensuring it is tidy and welcoming at all times
- Support other administrative functions as needed to ensure smooth office operations
Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong clerical skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry
- Excellent organisational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred
- Full driving license and own car is essential
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
