Job Description

Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring a carpenter in Birmingham.

All aspects of carpentry including 1st and 2nd Fix, skirting board replacement and installation, door hanging and architrave installation.

There will be an aspect of the project that requires the installation of Fire Doors so the candidate must be experienced in installing Fire Doors both single sets and double sets, also fixing kick plates and other iron monger. 

The ideal candidate:

  • Proven experience with fire door installation
  • Valid CSCS card
  • SSSTS
  • Own PPE and tools
  • Extensive carpentry experience

Start: 28th April 2025

Duration - 6 months/long term
